With being based in a beautiful, but economically
fragile part of Wales we have actively chosen to do all our produce
purchasing within Pembrokeshire. Clearly some of the products will
have come from further afield eg. Wines, pineapples, bananas etc but
at least the end purchase has been with a local supplier. We do not
get produce from the mainstream bulk catering suppliers at all. eg
Brake Brothers, 3663 and Booker.Our
suppliers are listed below and we’d encourage you to seek out their
products and try them at home. If you are just visiting St David’s
then you may want to take some gifts of their products back for
friends and family. Please tell them that you heard about them from
Morgan’s.
We also supply gallery space in the restaurant
for Richard Hellon’s superb local photographs. See our links page
for samples of his work. In 2009 we were delighted to host the very
first Really Wild Dining Club. Full details of the club and the
festival can be found via our links page.
Our small efforts to save the planet include
composting all vegetable peelings and scraps, recycling glass,
paper, cardboard and metals and using low voltage lighting. As they
say, ‘every little helps’! We are proud to have achieved Level 2 of
The Green Dragon Environmental Standard
Many of our dishes can be adapted for people
with dietary intolerances, allergies or preferences. There are numerous options
for Coeliacs and we offer at least two vegetarian starters and main
courses. Vegan options are always available.
